Comar Lodge B&B - Traditional Highland Hospitality

Breakfast

Guests have the option of a Continental or Full Traditional Scottish Breakfast. We offer a range of cereals and fruit juices, and of course porridge!


Dinner

We are pleased to offer guests a 2/3 course traditional Dinner for which we require 24 hours notice. We always try and ensure a different and varied menu each day – especially for those dining over a number of days.

We are happy to discuss requirements for Vegetarian and Vegan meals with our guests. Please also inform us in advance of any food allergies.

Guests if they wish, may bring their own wine, although we can provide wine from our local supplier in the village at cost.

Listed below we have a typical selection of our starters, main courses and desserts, all prepared from fresh produce and cooked in our AGA.

Starters

Stuffed peppers - Made from fresh peppers, stuffed with mushrooms, tomatoes and topped off with cheese – baked and served hot.

Smoked Flaky Salmon - Pieces of flaky salmon sprinkled liberally onto a base of mixed salads, tomatoes, cucumbers and topped off with a salad dressing.

Avocado & Prawns - Chunks of peeled avocado placed onto a bed of mixed salads and tomatoes topped with a generous helping of prawns and home made sauce.

The Bonnie Princes' Starter! - A generous portion of pate placed upon a bed of mushrooms and topped off with an egg placed in a ramekin and baked in an oven.



Main Course

Baked salmon - topped with a parsley sauce and served with fresh potatoes and a mixture of seasonal steamed vegetables.

One of the following as a Roast – Venison, Beef, Lamb, Pork or Chicken.

All served with roast potatoes, and a generous portion of fresh seasonal vegetables carefully steamed to retain all their goodness.

Fresh sauces and other accompaniments to enhance the meal.



Desserts

Sticky Toffee pudding --- Pavlova --- Apple crumble --- Fresh Fruit Salad

All served with a delicious ice cream or cream.

Dinner costs per person are £21.00 for 3 courses and £16.00 for 2 courses (Fresh Coffee included in price).
